My first hike! Wow, I can't believe it's only been a little over a month since I started. This one definitely got points for being the most... young feeling. Tromping through the snow... sliding down the hills on my rear... As far as preparation goes, next time, I'd definitely get "Yak-Traks," because those Costco snow-shoe deals fell off every two steps. That bit was very annoying, but I had a blast all the same!!
