Hike #4: Wallace Falls April 15 and 17, 2011

Hike Details:
     Out and back
     5.7 miles to Upper Wallace Falls
     1250 feet = elevation gain     High point = 1600
     Trails.com Rating = Moderate
     (the half mile from Middle Falls to Upper Falls is rated "difficult" on the trail)
     Off Highway 2/Gold Bar area
     Time = about 4 hours (round trip to Upper Wallace Falls)

  1. Or it can be a mile longer if you go on the railroad grade. Actually I quite enjoyed the railroad grade because it is wide enough to walk side by side for easy conversation. The hike was great fun. Those 7 foot tall Eagle Scouts built steps for giants on the last part. This was great fun and I am looking forward to what's next.
